RIP Gary Moore

I just read the very sad news that legendary guitarist Gary Moore had passed on the 6th. I'm devastated because I have always been a fan of his, have some of his albums on vinyl and he was still quite young. It's a terrible loss and my heart goes out to his loved ones.
To remember him I decided to not add a vid of himself playing but a genius cover of his song, Still Got The Blues, because I think a real artist is someone who doesn't only create magic but also inspires others to cast their own spells and Gary Moore was and remains one of these amazing artists.

Random silliness

I thought I shouldn't just post about my stitching and my whining about my life not going perfectly, so you won't get bored. So I thought of something fun. As you may know by now, I am a big fan of music videos. I like the idea of giving cinematic support to a song. So I decided that whenever I feel like blogging but have nothing in particular to share, I will come up with creative top 5 lists for my own amusement, and hopefully, yours as well.
Today's topic will be favourite cameos/appearances by movie stars in music videos.

5, The Cranberries - Ridiculous Thoughs featuring Elijah Wood

4, Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice featuring Christopher Walken

3, Pet Shop Boys - Heart featuring Sir Ian McKellen

2, Gorillaz - Stylo featuring Bruce Willis

1, Elton John - I Want Love featuring Robert Downey Jr.

Honourable mention for Annie Lennox's Walking on Broken Glass featuring the talents of Hugh Laurie and John Malkovich!

Happy Holidays!

Just dropping in to say hello to all my dear friends, fellow bloggers and cross stitch addicts anonymous all around the world! I wish you all a joyful holiday season regardless of what holiday you are celebrating! I am all packed to leave for my hometown so I can hug my daughter again. I'll leave you until next week with a collage on my progress with Lady of the Thread, a recent photo of me, and one of my favourite videos of all time. This song makes me smile every time!
Loads of hugs for all,
:-*
